As a serial intra/entrepreneur, Thai Randolph has built her career at the intersection of content, commerce & consumers. Her roster of previous clients and collaborators range from some of the most prominent global brands to the most innovative start-ups. Thai is known for her dual-bottom line approach to helping corporations seamlessly pursue purpose and profit. Most recently, Randolph served as Co-Founder, board member and CEO of Hartbeat where she led the deal that merged Kevin Hart’s two entertainment companies - Hartbeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud (LOL) - to form the global, multi-platform media company: HARTBEAT. To fuel the company’s growth, Randolph raised a $100M investment from private equity firm Abry Partners, in what was one of the biggest ever fund raises led by a Black woman in the U.S. Under her leadership, Hartbeat became highly profitable and tripled in size to become one of the fastest-growing and most sought-after creative engines for platforms, streamers, and brands. Previously, Randolph was a member of Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions team where she managed strategic partnerships and digital transformation initiatives with some of the most innovative marketing and technology agencies in the US. Randolph also served as CMO & SVP, Marketing & Client Partnerships for Sony DADC New Media Solution’s GENERATOR business unit. Randolph was named one of Black Enterprise’s Leading Women in Advertising and Marketing in 2016 for her work transforming Sony Music’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital group from an internal cost center to an independent digital marketing and ecommerce service provider. A seasoned agency executive, Randolph’s past experience also includes digital leadership roles with WPP (VML) and Publicis (Moxie Interactive) agencies, where she provided new media strategy and consultation to world-class brands including Verizon Wireless, Dell, Saks Fifth Avenue, Colgate-Palmolive and Revlon.   She serves on the board of Rock the Bells, LL Cool J’s media company, on the advisory board of The Clio Awards, is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and is also an investor in BrainTrust, A $25 Million Fund to Invest in Black-founded beauty and wellness brands.

A multimedia producer, host, content financer and Variety Comedy Impact Report honoree, Thai is known for driving “subs and buzz’’ for some of the world’s biggest entertainment companies. Randolph led Hartbeat, Kevin Hart’s entertainment company in the development and production of over 70 TV, Film, Audio & Digital projects including chart-topping programming like Hart II Heart (Peacock), Me Time (Netflix) Cold as Balls (YouTube), Dave (FX), Die Hart (Roku/Amazon), True Story (Netflix) Headliners Only (Netflix), Number One on the Call Sheet (Apple), Prom Dates (Hulu), and Lift (Netflix).

In 2021, she founded Women Write Now, a first-of-its-kind screenwriting fellowship developed in partnership with the Sundance Institute and HARTBEAT to champion the next generation of Black women in comedy through mentorship, advocacy, production, and exhibition. Continuing her mission to carve out spaces for overlooked – yet influential – voices in the industry, Randolph and co-founder/actress Tika Sumpter also launched Sugaberry, an audio-first media company for and by Black women – and co-hosted the Gracie-award winning podcast, The Suga

Randolph’s leadership perspective and subject matter expertise is in high demand at events such as Advertising Week, SXSW, CES, Digiday’s Content Marketing Summit, Sundance, Cannes Lions Festival, The Wrap’s “TheGrill”, Variety’s Inclusion and Entertainment Summit, Future of Television Conference, Digital Entertainment World, Adobe’s Digital Marketing Conference, YouTube's Publisher Summit, Emory University’s Executive Women of Goizetta: Advancing Leadership Conference, Google Entertainment Summit, Cynopsis’ Big TV Conference, and Streaming Media East, among others. As a result-focused and empathetic leader, she continues to advocate for inclusive representation in entertainment, equal opportunities in business, pay equity across industries and maternal and mental health for women and people of color.
